As a ‘Devi-Das’, subservient at the behest of the all-mighty Goddess Durga, Dr Rahul’s journey with Astrology and learning the divine science called ‘Jyotish’ was both empowered and guided by the almighty goddess and inspired by the works and teachings of his guruji the late Prof. Nimai Banerjee, who considered himself as a ‘Matrusadhak’.

His journey through astrology and spirituality was enabled and significantly enhanced when he chanced upon the all-powerful Maha Mantra “Om Hreem Dum Durgaayei Namah” — a Mantra that has the power to pacify all planetary afflictions. Upon studying the Durga Saptasati, a sacred text describing the origin, actions and blessings of Goddess in three sections, Dr Rahul  had finally found peace and happiness and had come to understand that it was the Goddess who enabled him to lay the foundation for MysBlavatsky.
